THE GREAT KABAB FACTORY

When I first heard I would be dining at The Great Kabab Factory during my stay at Radisson Blu Plaza Delhi Airport, I knew it would be a memorable experience. At this legendary restaurant, it's the culinary team's ability to prepare delicacies defined by a confluence of legendary Indian heritage and local craftsmanship; the description on the set menu don't even come close to describing the intensity of the flavours!

My friends and I decided to stop by at colonial-themed Savannah for the signature Radisson Blu Pacific Asia cocktail, 'Blue Sapphire'. The interiors was stunning, the music lively and the cocktail lethally delicious so we requested the management if we could have starters brought here and shift to the fine dining restaurant for entrees and he was happy to arrange it. Within minutes, a platter of the legendary kababs was served — packed with 'Galouti Kabab', 'Amritsari Macchi' 'Hariyali Murgh Tikka' and 'Chooza Khandari'. The fiery pickled tandoori fish cubes was off-the-hook-fresh and the chicken tikka, delicious — both kababs might have received more attention had they not been served alongside the sumptuous 'Galouti Kabab' atop Ulta Tawa Parantha i.e. the finely minced lamb patties were tender and flavourful with melt-in-the-mouth texture! My personal favourite? The chicken drumsticks flavoured with saffron and spices! Deelish!!None of us go for seconds but this platter had us salivating for more… and that too was polished off within minutes!

Satiated with the kababs, we walked across the lobby to The Great Kabab Factory and were shown to our table. We were first served 'Murgh Dum Biriyani' and 'Gosht Khadey Masala'. The biriyani was flavourful comfort food but the culinary masterpiece was the gosht. I think my heart rate went up at the sight of this magnificent meat!! It was so, so fresh and flavourful and perfectly paired with breads. Though we were stuffed, we couldn't resist trying the signature 'Dal Factory' — the chefs' take on dal makhni; swooped up with the softest breads it was sinfully delicious.  The meal ended on a sweet note with bowls of 'Jalebi served with Rabri' and 'Kesar Pista Kulfi'.

Reminiscing about dinner, I would recommend visiting The Great Kabab Factory at Radisson Blu Plaza Delhi Airport for a leisurely dinner! It has carved a niche since years, satisfying cravings for fresh flavourful kebabs and entrees.
