Praise the fashion Gods! It was LFW that gave Vipasha Agarwal the elusive break. She had been modelling sporadically before she was declared Face of Lakme 2007 and bagged Lakme Free Spirit with Katrina Kaif. "Even as an aspirant she could walk like a pro and that is not true for a lot of models," says Narendra Kumar. Since then, she has a TVC for Fair and Lovely and print campaigns like Georgia Coffee, Fair and Lovely, Seagram's, Thumbs Up, Oberoi Hotel, Frontier Bazaar, Mother Dairy, Apollo Tyres, Monte Carlo and Garnier in her portfolio.

As if a lucrative modelling career wasn't enough she succumbed to the lure of the big screen. Meher Rampal, who was scouting for the female lead of 'I See You' co-starring her husband, spotted her during a shoot and knew she was the one. "I was a novice but Arjun and Meher took me under their wing. I am so happy with the way things shaped up yet I make sure I carve equal time for my family in Banaras. My advice for aspirants: sign up with a renowned agency that takes care of you and ensures payments. Then there will be nothing to worry about and you can concentrate on the assignment at hand."
