Indian Models

''Modelling enhanced my personal growth'' says Khushbu Shetty. In conversation with the girl who gave up a career in finance to pursue her dreams.

''I was inclined towards modelling right from my school days and always made it a point to participate in fashion events. However, being from a humble background, I had never thought of pursuing modelling as a career. Infact, it was a distant dream. I began working in a finance-based firm right after graduation but was unhappy and disinterested there and that is the time I met a friend who was pursuing model. She encouraged me to pursue my dreams and I left the job and chose a career where my strength lies and at the same time which made me happy. Today, I strongly believe that career choices should be made based on Interest, Passion and Purpose.

Modelling enhanced my personal growth. I learnt the importance of marketing myself, gaining an understanding of myself and my capabilities, and learnt to believe in myself and in my dreams. What makes me a good model today is a combination of edgy looks,  fit body,  professionalism, positive attitude,  passion and above all a good personality. About my fitness mantra,  I am a gym freak and love to devote time to keeping myself fit. Being a model and actress, I have to be in shape. So apart from basic cardio, I follow weight training, which is required to get into shape.

God has been kind. I have considerable experience in both modelling and acting including walking for fashion weeks, brand ambassador for Trimurti Jewellery, shot for Kalyan Silk and Good Earth, TVC for Saravana Jewellery and much more. I have also completed a Kannada film which will be releasing in January and signed two more Kannada movies and a web series.''
