Mumbai boy Kaushal Prakkash is an interior designer who models whenever he can. Today, he is a contestant of Rubaru Mr India.
''My first modelling assignment was during my college days, where I walked the ramp for six designers in Symbiosis College, Pune; winning a competition for the most talented model made me realise my true potential. And though I was pursuing Interior Designing at that time, modeling quickly carved a niche in my aspirations. I feel a combination of good looks and versatile personality is what makes me a complete package and a desirable model!
I believe Rubaru Mr India is the best platform to showcase my talent and make it big. I've made a lot of changes in my regimen since I signed up for the pageant! I think the biggest challenge, apart from the three-hour daily training schedule, is overcoming my cravings!! Speaking of the pageant, I do appreciate that each contest is very talented in their own way and what is different about me is that I like to take each day as a challenge and strive to be better than who I was yesterday. I would love to use this platform to make a difference in not only mine but other lives as well. I think that winning this competition is much more than just a title to me — it will give me the right channel to make a difference. I strongly believe that one person can make a difference and I would love to be the one.
I think each one of us today are here because of our mothers; their hustle and everyday struggle has never never been appreciated. If a man has the right to be born out of a women's womb, no man has the right to take that away from a girl child, who will be a mother some day. I'm a strong supporter of the 'Beti Padhao Beti Bachao Yojana' and I believe that the only way this can stop is when we eradicate rape, female foeticide, dowry death, gender discrimination and other similar crimes by educating the less fortunate about the same. This is what I aspire to do if I win the title.’'
