Indian Models
GARIMA CHOUHAN

This statuesque beauty is the hottest entrant in the modeling fraternity. Hailing from Jaipur, her long lustrous hair, luminescent skin and doe eyes have caused a stir, which gives us reason to believe doctor-turned-model and actor Garima Chouhan's career graph is sure to ascend.

''I had completed my MBBS and was a practicing doctor before my deep interest in modeling and acting inspired me to pursue my passion — and here I am! I love being in front of the camera and I enjoy every moment of acting! And I just love expressing the satisfaction, enjoyment and happiness I derive from living my dream!!

I'm glad I pursued my passion! I've done a few music videos and a web series titled ‘No Offence'. A recent music video was with Jaipur-based Saar Band — it's the cover of 'Badan Pe Sitaare Lapete Hue'; a cultural music video 'Hariyala Banna' showcases the rich Rajasthani culture and has crossed 4.5 million views in five months!! I was also a part of a campaign against female feticide by the Rajasthan Govt. This project was informative and interesting. And there's a lot to look forward to too — a number of projects including a horror web-series and a short film are in post production. i love theatre too and soon I will be performing at the National School Of Drama!

Of course I follow a strict diet and workout regime! However, being fit is not a necessity only in modeling; it's the need of hour for people across professions! Each person, no mater which career he or she is pursuing, must eat healthy food and try avoiding fast food. Whenever I'm out on location, I prefer juices over samosas! Drinking lots of water keeps me hydrated and energetic and my diet includes less chapatis, more sprouts, salads, juices and fruits. I try to workout for at least an hour in a day to maintain my fitness and nervy levels.

There are multiple ways to be creative in every field, if you love your work and if you enjoy it, whether it's modeling or acting or anything else. Acting is my passion and yes I get a lot of satisfaction from acting and modeling but I love diversity and hence I continue to be a doctor too! From my own experience, my advice to youngsters wishing to be a model is, 'be confident and be yourself; be honest and dedicated towards your work! If you love what you are doing no one can stop you; you will definitely shine!'''
