Indian Models

She graduated with Masters in Fashion Design and somewhere on this journey developed a keen interest in modelling. Meet Bhanu Priya Chaudhary.

''Modeling is not what I always wanted to do. I pursued Masters in Fashion Design and it's only during styling project shoots for our course that I realised I was deveoping a keen interest in shoots and styling and love the camera!! Here, I discovered that here are so many types of modeling assignments… and myriad opportunities for models. So I decided to follow my passion and joined a modelling agency. I feel blessed to have worked on great assignments for designers, fashion and jewellery brands, Amazon and Flipkart, and walked for top designers like JJ Valaya. Being a finalist in model hunt 'Glam Icon' propelled my career in Mumbai as I was in the process of shifting from Jaipur to pursue modelling. Now I'm looking forward to walking for Rajasthan Style Fest in my hometown, Jaipur.

I strongly feel a good model is professional. Whether it's being on time for a shoot, being well mannered with all the people we interact with or being organised, a good model will take this career seriously. From my experience, my advice to aspiring models would be to respect and value others' time. Be punctual and determined to give your best. Working in Fashion allows you to meet people from diverse background and with rich experiences. You can learn a lot!

I take this profession seriously and am continuously working on myself. I meditate every day — a healthy mind leads to a healthy body. It's helped me to be peaceful, focused, appreciative and attentive to everything in life. I don't skip meals because we all need a balance of protein, fat, carbohydrates, fibre, vitamins and minerals in our diet to sustain a healthy body. And, remember, you don't need to eliminate certain categories of food from your diet; instead select the healthiest options from each category!"
