Indian Models
ASHRAF SAIFI

Delhi-based Ashraf Saifi shifted base to Mumbai after graduation — he had stars in his eyes and was focussed on pursuing his dreams of modelling and acting. Over to the Pop Culture Talent who is living his dream and lovin' it.

''I could have gone for a corporate job and I tried to, in fact, but in many of the job interviews, the interviewers suggested I give modelling a shot!! I heard the same from friends so I arrived at the decision that I would somehow pursue it. As luck would have it, a friend on social media introduced me to fashion photographers; few agreed to shoot me and I got a folio done. I began meeting with agencies and photographers and giving them my portfolio… and lady luck smiled. Work began trickling in. It was awesome! I've done campaigns for Airtel Money, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Vivo HealthCare, Max Bupa, Star Plus' 'Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyara Pyara' as a model entry, Kolkata Fashion Week, Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week and more. Recently I did a lookbook shoot for Sumit Dasgupta and collaboration with Pop Culture Talent.

I love the glamour industry so much now… and even if modelling assignments dry up, I will pursue acting because I can't leave camera, Fashion and glamour! A modelling career gives me freedom and adventure. I travel a lot and I enjoy every moment of my professional life. Because of modelling I meet people from diverse fields and regions. Though there is one person I idolise — John Abraham. Speaking of modelling, I feel a model would have a good face and body but what's most important is an attractive attitude. Of course, keeping in shape is an essential. I've a regular workout regime and a strict diet. I eat vegetables and fruits; there is no need to be on boiled food if you're working out! if I'm traveling I eat fruits instead of fast food.

Personally speaking, being a male model, there are many girls after me; they tell me they want to date me!! Of course, being a professional model, I have to maintain a balance but sometime in parties… people meet, have fun and forget! And this happens in every successful model's and actor's life.''
