Indian Models

Ankush Satija was attracted to modelling since he was a teenager. He was a huge fan of iconic supermodel and actor John Abraham, admired him and aspired to be like him some day. ''Yeah, he was my inspiration to become a professional model and.. I'm a model now'' he grins. ''Choosing modelling as a career has given me a lot of opportunities and this makes me work hard and set higher goals in life. My dedication towards work, staying mentally strong and believing in myself makes me a good model. I've worked on campaigns and tvcs for Maruti Suzuki Nexa, Airtel, Amway, Book My Show and Philips, to name a few. I've walked for several designers and fashion weeks, shot for editorials and catalogues.

I'm particular about my diet and fitness regime. I work out five days a week, sometimes twice a day, either at the gym or running  I'm always active and can't sit down for too long without doing anything. I also eat healthy hygienic food which gives me energy to work out and keep my body fit. I also love experimenting with different juices and shakes to figure out a balance of health and taste. And I'm satisfied with the way my modelling career has shaped up. it is a very creative field. My advice for new models is, 'Take care of your health and maintain a diet. Get plenty of exercise, sleep well and eat well. Listen to what is asked of you, cater to the designer's idea of showcasing their garments in a certain manner and never stop learning. Be grounded, be kind and put in a 100 per cent into every show and shoot like it's your first.'''
