Super-elegant and chic designer duo Abraham and Thakore is known globally for its fashion and accessories in addition to textile products for the home. Creative director David Abraham is focused on reinventing the label each season to keep it contemporary, directional and relevant both in India and overseas while Director Rakesh Thakore is focused on the design and development of hand-woven fabrics. NIFT alumni Kevil Nigli joined them at a later stage as Director of Sales and tapped into their commercial potential.

The label's luxe looks are popular with stars like Bollywood A-list perhaps because a key aspect of the collections is the modern synergy between fashion and lifestyle with a unifying vision for the way the urban Indian consumer dresses and lives in Delhi, London or Tokyo. PS Their works have been exhibited at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, at the Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts in New Delhi and in the Volkart Foundation-sponsored exhibition on Khadi.
