As one of the leading industries worldwide, predicted to recover from the effects of the global pandemic and hit $672.71 billion by 2023, fashion is evolving to address rising concerns about sustainability and inclusivity. Well, the time has finally arrived for fashion week to return to its fully physical format and with the opportunity to once again attend shows, one question remains — would plus-size representation be present?
Yes! Clearly, the vision for fashion to embrace size-inclusivity is intensifying. Following its previous successful collaborations, aLL — The Plus Size Store is gearing up to present a brand showcase at the upcoming edition of FDCI x Lakmé Fashion Week in New Delhi. Through an audition process, plus size individuals will be chosen to walk the ramp for this show. The auditions will take place virtually on aLL The Plus Size store; Lakmé Fashion Week; and FDCI social media. Entries are open till 11th March and up to twenty winners will get the opportunity to walk for the aLL Plus Size show at FDCI X Lakmé Fashion Week, taking place from 23-27 March 2022.
GENERAL INFORMATION AND ELIGIBILITY FOR AUDITIONS:
Walk videos would be reviewed by Team FDCI, Lakmé Fashion Week and aLL.
