BEHIND THE SCENES OF PAYAL SINGHAL SS14 SHOOT

7.15 a.m. Kiss my son off to school.. run to get ready!!
8:00 a.m. All ready and scuttling to put the zillion accessory bags into the car... have to pick up Emily (model) and Alana (make-up artist) from Fab India in Khar as they both live around there so giving them a ride to the shoot.
9:00 a.m. Ready to start make-up... all bags and clothes have been unloaded at the studio "Collective" in Lower Parel. Alana started with the make-up. Verve Fashion Director Nisha Jhangiani has just come in... she is styling the shoot!
9:30 p.m. Nisha and I select the final 10 looks we want to shoot and start putting the accessories together. Everyone is starving so we order breakfast and even before the shoot has kicked off we have our first food break!! (Trust me, there were many on this shoot!!)
11:00 a.m. We are ready for our first shot. Photographer Arjun Mark starts to work his magic. I honestly don’t even need to be on this shoot with such a fantastic team and crew!!
12:00 noon Ashish Kapoor (Director-Fashion Film for Behind the Scenes) arrives after being stuck in traffic for three hours... starts his set up to shoot the film we are doing for LFW Fashion Films showcase.
2:00 p.m. Lunch break. We have shot six looks only four to go...Yay!!
3:00p.m. Dinesh Singhal (my dad) drops in to see how the shoot is going. We get his nod of approval!! Phew!!
5:00 p.m. Only 1 look left to shoot and now our company head (and my husband) Nirvaan has ordered tea and several fried foods for everyone! (Note: food break #3)
6:00 p.m. The shoot is a wrap but now we need to do our individual interviews for the behind the scene film... honestly next to impossible to keep everyone quiet while filming!!
7:00 p.m. All done!! Great end to a tiring day.. now heading home to meet my son!!
