5’9" Bhavini Dembla got attracted to modelling during college days. Due to her height, athletic body and long voluminous hair, her friends persuaded her to go for it; after some research on showbiz she took the plunge!

''I take care of myself as I know how essential that is in this field. I workout daily and maintain a healthy balanced diet of seasonal fruits and vegetables. I also do yoga, swimming, running and train in martial arts. So I would always advise aspiring models work on their physique, attitude, body language and the way they carry themselves. One should be fit so that the glow shows on the face. Eat healthy and work out!

That said, I'm a fresher. I recently joined StyleSkool by Abhimanyu Singh Tomar who I feel is is a good teacher. Although I have walked for shows in Delhi and Bangalore, and would be walking for Rajasthan Style Fest, I aspire to walk for fashion icons Sabyasachi, Ritu Beri and Prasad Bidapa. People ask me if I get job satisfaction from modelling or would I diversify? Diversifying and taking calculated risks is fine if you first perfect what you are doing. Once you master a particular art, there is no harm in trying your hand at related fields. I feel it's important to have a good mentor to guide you at each step. Abhimanyu is an amazing mentor who trains us to face the competitive world of glamour. He has taught me to believe in myself and have faith, which is important.''
