ZEGNA AUTUMN WINTER 2019 CAMPAIGN

In this age of toxic masculinity, 110-year-old Italian label Zegna aspires to be a game-changer with its new campaign starring two-time Oscar winner Mahershala Ali and talented artist Nicholas Tse star. According to the campaign, masculinity is a state of mind and qualities like courtesy, politeness, patience, vulnerability, wisdom and eccentricity. It is a wake-up call to accept the idea that we may need to change our perspective and embrace gratitude, playfulness and risk-taking — trademarks of the modern man.

 

What's more, giving back is a part of the brand ethos. Following the campaign launch, Zegna designed #WhatMakesAman t-shirt; its sales support Cesvi in its mission of protecting and educating vulnerable children — a cause that aligns with the humanitarian underpinning of its global vision. This partnership, titled 'From A to Zegna', provides educational programs that aim to challenge masculine stereotypes and nurture a distinct sense of humanity in youth.
